CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 69 Harvard women's tennis (9-7, 1-0 Ivy) defeats Dartmouth College (4-9, 0-1 Ivy) 4-1 in their Ivy League opener on Saturday, April 1. Harvard has now won six in a row against Dartmouth and leads the all-time series 37-12.
 
Starting play in doubles, Harvard's duo of Rachel Arbitman and Iveta Daujotaite defeated Dartmouth's Ashley Hess and Chidimma Okpara 6-4 in the one position. A 6-4 win from Charlotte Owensby and Angel You over Dartmouth's Emily Zhou and Lexi Dewire secured the doubles point for the Crimson.
 
In the one position, No. 103 ranked Charlotte Owensby defeated Dartmouth's Chidimma Okpara 6-2, 6-3. Maxi Duncan earned her team leading ninth singles win of the Spring with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Dartmouth's Ashley Hess in the two spot. A 6-2, 7-6 win from Angel You in the four spot gave the Crimson enough points to secure victory, defeating the Big Green 4-1.
