Men’s and Women’s Rowing Ready for Henley Royal Regatta

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard and Radcliffe rowing are set to compete at the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-on-Thames, England. The action is set for June 27-July 2.
 
Harvard will have a men's eight boat entered in The Temple Challenge Cup, which begins on June 27. The Crimson is set to face Nottingham University at 1:10 p.m. ET. If heavyweight boat is victorious, it will move on to face the winner of University of London 'C'-Christ Church & Wolfson College, Oxford.
 
Radcliffe will have two boats entered in The Island Challenge Cup. Radcliffe Crew 'A' is the heavyweight boat that will begin action on Wednesday against Georgetown. The two crews will go head-to-head for the right to compete against Durham University. Radcliffe Crew 'B', meanwhile, is the lightweight entry that drew Northeastern. The winner will move on to face A.U.S.R Orca or the Netherlands. 
 
Harvard will also have a men's four boat competing in The Visitors' Challenge Cup, which opens on Friday. The Crimson will begin its journey against Melbourne University, with the victor advancing to face the winner of Isis B.C. & London R.C.-Oxford Brookes University.
