Harvard Athletics Ready for Harvard Football 150 Celebration

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics is proud to announce that it will celebrate 150 years of Harvard Football throughout the upcoming 2023 campaign. Established in 1873, the program has produced some of the most iconic players and moments in college football history.

This year, Harvard Athletics will celebrate the program's milestone season at each of the Crimson's 2023 home games and release exclusive fan content throughout the year. To accompany the celebration, Harvard Athletics has unveiled a brand mark to commemorate 150 years of football at Harvard, along with a dedicated microsite.

This season, the Crimson will play six games at Harvard Stadium for the first time since 2012, with the first contest coming on Sept. 16, when it faces 2022 Pioneer League champion St. Thomas. Harvard will also play host to Brown (Sept. 22) and Cornell (Oct 6) in a pair of Friday-night affairs, Howard on Oct. 14, Dartmouth in a Homecoming/Fall Fest contest on Oct. 28, and Penn on Senior Day (Nov. 11).

The Crimson's road dates are set to occur at Holy Cross at Polar Park on Sept. 30, Princeton (Oct. 21), Columbia (Nov. 4) and Yale (Nov. 18).

As a reminder, all football dates are subject to change.

Harvard Football season and single-game tickets are available now. Fans can also find a selection of limited-edition apparel commemorating the 150th anniversary of Harvard Football at the official online store of Harvard Athletics.
