CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard softball team will add a talented class of five first-years to the program for the 2024 season, Harvard announced on Tuesday. The first-years will cover all the bases with infielders, outfielders and a pitcher joining the team.
 
Incoming players will join 15 returning student-athletes on a Crimson team that is coming off an exceptional 2023 season in which it won the Ivy League regular season title, the Ivy League Tournament and advanced to the NCAA Arkansas Regional.
 
The 2022-23 first-year class had an outstanding season as well, with Riley Flynn joining Harvard from Phoenix, Ariz. to win the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award and the Ivy League Tournament's Most Outstanding Player. Finley Payne, who hails from Liberty Township, Ohio, was named First Team All-Ivy as the designated player. Harvard has high hopes for this incoming class to make another immediate impact in their first year.
