CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The defending CSA National Champion, Harvard women's squash, has released its 2023-24 schedule. The Crimson will play 12 matches during the upcoming campaign including six matches in front of its home fans at the Murr Squash Center. Harvard will look to defend its CSA title throughout its challenging 2023-24 slate.
The new season is set to begin on Nov. 11 when the team will take on Williams at the Murr Center. Ivy League play begins with home contests against Dartmouth (Nov. 29). The team will then make the trip to Charlottesville for the first time in program history to battle the University of Virginia Cavaliers on Dec. 2.
After a month-long pause for finals and winter break, the Crimson will return to action on Jan. 12 to host the Stanford Cardinal at the Murr Center. Harvard will take on the Yale Bulldogs at home on Jan. 19 before making the drive to Hartford for the clash with rival Trinity on Jan. 21.
Harvard will round out its Ivy League schedule with weekend sets at Princeton/Penn (Jan. 27-28) and vs. Cornell/Columbia (Feb. 3-4). The Crimson's regular season comes will end with a pair of non-conference duals at Tufts (Feb. 6) and at Drexel (Feb. 17).
The team will then turn its focus to defending its title at the CSA Team National Championships, which are to be played from Feb. 29 – Mar. 3 at a location that is to be announced. The CSA Individual National Championships are set to begin on Mar. 8, with a National Champion to be crowned on Sunday, March 10.
The Crimson is coming off a season in which it posted a 14-1 record on its way to its eighth straight National Championship. Harvard players also combined to post a 104-30 individual record during the 2022-23 campaign.
