CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis continued play at the Harvard Fall Classic this afternoon battling players from crosstown rival, Boston College.  The Crimson were dominant in doubles play, winning all three matches and grabbed an additional three wins in singles competition.

Harvard Highlights

• Going 8-3 last season, Rachel Arbitman and Iveta Daujotaite teamed up in doubles for the first time this season, defeating Sophia Edwards/Stephanie Sanchez (BC), 6-3. 
• The Crimson swept doubles with Natalie Block and Angel you registering another 6-3 win for the Crimson and Holly Fischer and Stephanie Yakoff dominating with a 6-1 result. 
• No. 109 Charlotte Owensby picked up her first ranked win of the season defeating No. 107 nationally ranked, Sophia Edwards (BC), 6-3, 6-1.
• Holly Fischer secured her second win of the season by holding off Stephanie Sanchez (BC) in tiebreakers.  After splitting the first two sets 5-7, 7-6 (4), Fischer won tiebreakers 10-7. 
• First-year Kavya Karra picked up her second collegiate win in as many matches by defeating Muskan Mahajan (BC) in dominant fashion, 6-1, 6-2.
