CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
James Rozolis-Hill scored seven goals in an 18-10 win over Brown as the junior now holds sole possession of the program's all-time goal record. With his second goal in the first quarter, Rozolis-Hill netted his 283rd career goal as the Crimson went on to beat the Brown Bears to improve to 4-0 in NWPC play and 11-2 on the season. Rozolis-Hill finished the game with seven goals in a career day at Blodgett Pool.
Adding 123 goals in his first season, 109 in his second, and 56 to date this season, Rozolis-Hill will shatter the previous record of 282 when he completes his career in Cambridge. In just 70 career games, the California native is averaging 4.11 goals a game.
The Crimson fell behind early in the first quarter after two quick Brown goals, but
James Rozolis-Hill added two quick ones to tie and break the record before completing the hat-trick and giving the Crimson its first lead of the night. Harvard went on to score six unanswered and never looked back.
He just finds a way to score the ball. And it's not like he's just doing it in blowout games either," Head Coach
Ted Minnis said post-game. "He's scoring big numbers against good teams, great teams like Brown, and Princeton. I'm very proud of him."
Breaking the previous record set back in 2011,
James Rozolis-Hill now holds two program records as he broke the single-goal record back in his rookie season.
"Just to be a small part of the history at the world's greatest institution," Rozolis-Hill added. "It's something I'll cherish forever."
