CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore
Ben Kelly scored his first collegiate goal, but Harvard University men's soccer fell to Stonehill College, 2-1, on Wednesday night at Jordan Field in its non-league finale.
The Crimson (2-6-4) took the lead in the 17
th minute following Kelly's goal before the visiting Skyhawks (5-7-3) netted goals in the 38
th and 63
rd minutes to take the decision.

Zachary Sardi-Santos posted his team-high fourth assist of the season while sophomore
Erik Dalaker provided his first assist of the year.

How It Happened
- The Crimson took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute as sophomore Ben Kelly netted his first collegiate goal. After junior Zachary Sardi-Santos played a ball up the left side, sophomore Erik Dalaker beat his defender prior to sending a cross into the penalty area, allowing Kelly to knock a shot into the back of the net.
- Harvard nearly went ahead 2-0 in the 25th minute as sophomore Dylan Tellado blasted a shot on target that required a diving save from the keeper.
- Junior goalkeeper Cullen MacNeil dove to his left to make his first save of the match in the 33rd minute.
- Stonehill netted an equalizer in the 38th minute as Shane Fonseca scored following a turnover.
- The Skyhawks took a 2-1 lead in the 63rd minute as Jared Rapoza scored off an assist from Jaxson Kahawai.
- Harvard almost drew level in the 65th minute as Tellado drove a shot on target from close range.
- In the second half, the Crimson held a 9-4 edge in shots over the Skyhawks but could not break through for a second goal.
