Ben Kelly scored his first career game-winning goal, junior goalkeeper
Lucian Wood tallied his second shutout of the season, and Harvard University men's soccer topped Columbia University, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon at Jordan Field.
In the penultimate home game of the season for the Crimson (3-6-4, 2-3-0 Ivy), Kelly broke through in the 81
st minute as Harvard tallied its third clean sheet as a team this season with its victory over the visiting Lions (1-10-1, 1-3-1 Ivy).

Dylan Tellado provided the assists. Wood notched his fourth career shutout.
Harvard Highlights
- Sophomore Ben Kelly scored his first collegiate game-winning goal and has now scored in back-to-back games after netting his first career goal against Stonehill (Oct. 23). For the season, he now has five points on two goals and one assist.
- Senior Marko Isakovic notched his third assist of the season and leads the team with seven points on the year. He now has 12 career assists and 18 career points.
- Sophomore Dylan Tellado registered his first career assist and paces the Crimson with seven points on the season.
- Junior goalkeeper Lucian Wood made two saves in his second shutout of the season and fourth shutout of his career.
- Among the Crimson's field players, senior center backs Jan Riecke and Ludovico Rollo as well as junior outside back Rustin Khosravi all played the full 90 minutes. The trio helped the Crimson tally its third shutout as a team this season.
- For the match, Harvard led in shots (12-8), shots on goal (7-2), and corner kicks (6-2).

How It Happened
- Junior goalkeeper Lucian Wood made his first save of the match in the 13th minute, diving to his right following a free kick.
- In the 21st minute, sophomore Dylan Tellado made a run along the left-hand side that generated a scoring chance for senior Sam Bjarnason.
- Junior Nicholas Nyquist tested the keeper in the 33rd minute, driving a shot towards the near post.
- Opening the second half, junior Zachary Sardi-Santos and sophomore Erik Dalaker each blasted shots on goal inside the first five minutes of the half.
- The Crimson pressured the Lions throughout the second half, holding advantages in shots (8-3), shots on goal (6-1), and corner kicks (3-0).
- The moment of breakthrough came in the 81st minute as sophomore Ben Kelly scored his first career game-winning goal. After sophomore Dylan Tellado played a ball to senior Marko Isakovic on the right side, Isakovic sent a cross into the penalty area, where Kelly chested the ball down and drove a shot past the keeper.
