CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Fredi Schneider – a former varsity skier at Plymouth State University – has joined the Harvard University alpine skiing coaching staff as an assistant coach,
Scott MacPherson, The Peter H. Carter '69 Head Coach for Harvard Alpine Skiing, announced on Tuesday.
Schneider holds extensive racing experience at the FIS, Nor-Am, and collegiate levels. A USCSCA National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team honoree, Schneider competed with the Panthers on the highly competitive EISA circuit.
Alongside a commitment to maximizing the student-athlete experience, Schneider brings a skill set to the Crimson that includes athlete development, skiing fundamentals and fitness training, ski equipment maintenance, course maintenance and inspection, mental preparation, and video analysis.
A product of Burke Mountain Academy and a native of Bridgewater, New Hampshire, Schneider earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Plymouth State University in 2024.
