CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a historic and massively successful 2023-24 campaign, Harvard track & field is getting ready for another season of breaking records and setting new standards, as the Crimson announced the 2024-25 indoor schedule.
The season begins on Saturday, Dec. 7, as the Crimson host the third annual HBCU & Ivy Challenge at Gordon Indoor Track. After the winter interlude, Harvard is back in action on Saturday, Jan. 11, as the Crimson compete at the famed TRACK at new balance for the first time this season, competing in the Suffolk Relays.
On Saturday, Jan. 18, Harvard makes its season debut at the BU Track & Tennis Center, participating in the Battle in Beantown. The next weekend sees Harvard head south, as the Crimson participate in the Penn Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 25, the first competition outside Massachusetts during the 2024-25 season.
The Crimson return to its home state on Friday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1 for a pair of meets, competing in the Terrier Classic at Boston University on Friday and the UMass Lowell Riverhawk Invite at the TRACK at New Balance on Saturday.
In its next outing, the Crimson welcome top talent from across the nation to Gordon Indoor Track on Friday, Feb. 7, hosting the Crimson Elite. Harvard will also host the Crimson Open on Saturday, Feb. 8, as select Harvard student-athletes will also head across town to the Scarlet & White Invite at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
Harvard student-athletes will be divided between three meets on Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15, as Crimson student-athletes will look to make an impact at the Valentine Invitational at BU, Eagle Elite at the TRACK at new balance, and Tiger Paw at Clemson. The regular season ends on Friday, Feb. 21 with the BU Last Chance Meet.
The Crimson begin its postseason journey in the Empire State, as Cornell will host the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, Mar. 1 and Sunday, Mar. 2. Virginia Beach Sports Center will host the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, Mar. 14 and Saturday, Mar. 15.
