Peter Messervy each tallied two hits on the day, but Harvard University baseball fell to Troy University, 11-1, on Sunday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field.

Playing in the series finale of a three-game set, the Crimson (0-3) pulled within 4-1 in the top of the fifth off an RBI double from Lane before the host Trojans (7-1) scored the game's final seven runs to end the contest in seven innings.

For the weekend, Rounds hit .556 (5-for-9) with three runs scored, a home run, two RBIs, and a double while Messervy hit .500 (4-for-8).

How It Happened
- After Troy scored the game's first first round runs, the Crimson cut into the lead in the top of the fifth as Lane hit a double into left field to score Rounds.
- The Trojans plated six runs in the fifth to make the score 10-1 and added a run in the bottom of the seventh to enact the 10-run rule through seven innings.Â
