CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –– Former Harvard-Radcliffe Rower Olivia Coffey '11 was chosen to represent the United States in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in both the eight and the four. As announced by USRowing, the Harvard-Radcliffe alumnae will compete in her second Olympic games, last racing for the United States in 2020. She placed fourth in the USA eight in Tokyo. Coffey is continuing her family's legacy by rowing in the games, as her father stroked the men's pair to a silver medal at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
Coffey is an established rower in international competitions. Already competing in one Olympic games, she has also competed in over ten combined World Rowing Cups and Championships. She's competed on a world stage since 2009 when she raced in the World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
