Fitzpatrick carried her momentum from game two into the series finale, driving a one-run RBI-double down the left field line to provide Harvard the lead, 1-0.

Fitzpatrick struck again in the fifth frame. With the bases loaded and one out, Fitzpatrick sent a ball into the gap in left center field, sending all three base runners home with a three-run RBI-double, pushing the Crimson advantage, 4-0. With the hit, Fitzpatrick tied her career-high in RBIs in a game with four.

Cornell (7-26, 4-14) rallied in the bottom of the seventh, scoring two runs on a fielder's choice, but Harvard secured the win with the final out.
