NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Harvard University baseball rallied to take a 3-2 win in game two after dropping a narrow 4-3 decision in game one in an Ivy League doubleheader against Yale University on Saturday afternoon at George H.W. Bush '48 Field.

Opening its final series of the season, the Crimson (13-25, 9-11 Ivy) came back from a 2-0 deficit to take the nightcap and nearly captured the decision from the Bulldogs (17-23, 10-10 Ivy) in the opener as the hosts broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the eighth. Harvard has now earned at least one win against all seven other Ivy League teams on the season.

Sean Matson threw the Crimson's first complete game of the year and tallied 10 strikeouts, but Harvard fell to Yale, 4-3, in the series opener.

The Crimson rallied from one-run deficits on three different occasions to knot the score, including tying the score at 3-3 in the top of the seventh, before the Bulldogs scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth.

- Yale opened the game's scoring with a solo home run in the bottom of the first.
- The Crimson tied the score at 1-1 in the top of the third as Rickheim came home to score following a wild pitch after he reached on a walk and moved to third on a single from Fang.
- Yale re-gained a 2-1 lead with a run in the bottom of the fourth.
- Harvard knotted the score at 2-2 in the top of the fifth as Cooper sent an RBI single to center field to plate Kang.
- The Bulldogs moved ahead 3-2 in the last of the sixth on a sacrifice fly.
- The Crimson evened the score again in the top of the seventh behind an RBI double to right center from Rounds that brought home Fang.
- The hosts went back into the lead at 4-3 with an RBI single in the eighth.Â

Trailing 2-0, the Crimson plated two runs in the fourth to tie the score at 2-2 and scored the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth to rally past the host Bulldogs and even up the series at one game apiece.
