Women's Heavyweight Rowing

Harvard-Radcliffe Heavyweights 2024 Season Recap

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –– Yet another spring season has come to a close for Harvard-Radcliffe Heavyweight Rowing. The 2024 season brought new obstacles and opportunities to the team. This was the first full-year that Radcliffe spent in the newly renovated Weld Boathouse, a state-of-the-art facility that has significantly enhanced their training environment. Along with a new building, Radcliffe introduced a new coaching staff. The Black and White competed in six unique regattas against some of the top crews in the country.

One of the highlights of the season came in it's only home event of the  season, facing BU, Dartmouth, and Northeastern on the Charles River in early April. The Black and White swept the field in all races on its home course.

Radcliffe had an all-around performance at the Ivy Championships, as the second varsity eight and all three varsity fours had a top five finish to end its season. The team remains strong and looks forward to making a statement next year. The combination of a world-class facility, a dedicated coaching staff, and a talented group of athletes positions Harvard-Radcliffe Heavyweight Rowing for a bright future.
