Women’s Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's volleyball announced its 2024 schedule this afternoon, comprised of nine non-conference battles followed by its Ivy League slate beginning at the end of September.

Opening its season in the Malkin Athletic Center, the Crimson will welcome Stonehill, Merrimack, and University of New Hampshire to Cambridge, Mass. beginning September 6 for the annual Harvard Invite.

Harvard's non-conference schedule will then consist of two invitationals on the road the following two weekends.  Competing at URI and Delaware State, the Crimson will also face Stony Brook, Northern Illinois University, NJIT, and George Washington to make up its final six out of league foes.

Starting on September 27, the Crimson will begin its run to an Ivy title at home against the Big Green of Dartmouth.  Harvard will then welcome Columbia and Cornell the following weekend before hitting the road on October 11 and 12 for a back-to-back weekend with Princeton and Penn.  The squad will journey back up to Cambridge to round out the first half of its conference slate against Yale and Brown on October 18 and 19, respectively.

Beginning with the final weekend in October and running through the middle of November, Harvard will face each Ivy foe again in hopes of punching its ticket to the Ivy League Tournament for the second straight season.

Held at the campus of the top-seed, the conference playoffs will take place on November 22 and 23.  Four Ivy teams will battle for a spot in the 2024 NCAA Tournament that will run from December 5 until a national champion is crowned in Louisville, Ky. on the 21st

The Crimson are coming off one of its best seasons in recent years by finishing 15-9 in 2023 while also clinching its first ever berth to the Ivy League tournament.  Despite losing seven seniors, Harvard will return a core of its lineup and welcome a highly anticipated first-year class as it looks for continued success this upcoming year.
