CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving's David Abrahams '24 was named to the 2024 United States Paralympic Team on Sunday, following three days of U.S. Paralympic Team Trials – Swimming competition.
 
Hailing from Havertown, Pennsylvania, Abrahams was one of 33 athletes, and one of 12 men, who will appear at the Paralympic Games Paris 2024. The recent graduate earned his second U.S. Paralympic team invitation after landing on the national squad in 2021 for the Tokyo Games where he brought home a silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke SB13.
 
At the U.S. Paralympic Trials in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this past weekend, Abrahams secured two gold medals, taking the 100-meter breaststroke SB13 on Day 1, logging a time of 1:06.92. Then on Day 3, Abrahams won the 200-meter individual medley SM13 by finishing in 2:15.54.
 
The swimming portion of the 2024 Paralympic Games is scheduled for Aug. 29-Sept. 7, at Paris La Defense Arena.
