Wrestling Unveils 2024-25 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Wrestling announced today its schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Crimson will compete in five tournaments before shifting to its dual-meet campaign, which features four matches both home and away.

Harvard is coming off an impressive 2023-24 season, having three wrestlers qualify and compete in the NCAA tournament. Senior Diego Sotelo comes into the year at No. 16 in the FloWrestling preseason rankings for the 125-pound weight class.

The Crimson will begin the new season in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, at the Journeymen Classic on Nov. 10. Next, Harvard will travel back to the Quaker State to compete in the Keystone Classic at the University of Pennsylvania on Nov. 24.

Harvard will next travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Cliff Keen Invitational on Dec. 6-7. Following Cliff Keen, the Crimson will head to the Midlands on Dec. 29-30 in Evanston, Illinois.
Last year, was the first time a Harvard athlete made the final at the Midlands tournament (Philip Conigliaro '24).

The Franklin & Marshall Open in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Jan. 10 wraps up the non-conference schedule for the Crimson.

Harvard will travel to American (Jan. 17) and Navy (Jan. 18) in its first dual weekend of the season. This will be the first head-to-head wrestling match up between American and Harvard since 2015. It will also be the first matchup between Navy and Harvard since 1973.

The Crimson is set to host Cornell and Binghamton on Jan. 25 at the Malkin Athletic Center. On Feb. 2, Harvard will travel to Penn and Princeton.

The final two home contests for the Crimson will be against Ivy foes Columbia (Feb. 15) and Brown (Feb. 21).

Following the dual season, the inaugural Ivy League Wrestling Championship will take place on March 9 at Princeton.

The Crimson's season will culminate with the NCAA Championship, March 21-23, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
