CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis wrapped up play at Chowderfest this afternoon by adding four wins to its weekend total. The tournament concluded with
Benjamin Privara and
Masato Perera being named the Jack Barnaby '32 Chowderfest Doubles Champions.
Marc Ktiri and
James MacDonald opened the day for the Crimson in doubles action by defeating Walker Oberg and Eric Li (Yale), 6-3.
Moving into singles
Rohan Murali registered his first victory of his sophomore season, downing Li (Yale) in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
Masato Perera followed by collecting his second win of the weekend, defeating his Ivy foe, Dylan Tsoi (Yale), 6-4, 6-2.
Mitchell Lee grabbed the second win of his young career, dropping Jim Ji (Yale) in straight sets with identical 6-4 decisions.
As the final day of Chowderfest wrapped up, Zachary Viiala (Illinois) earned the Dale Junta '58 Chowderfest Singles Champion title while the Crimson duo and No. 84 nationally ranked pairing of Privara and Perera took home the Jack Barnaby '32 Chowderfest Doubles Championship.
