CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Harvard-Radcliffe Lightweight Rowing team claimed victory in the Women's Lightweight Eight at the 60th Annual Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR), finishing first in a strong field on their home course. Radcliffe's "A" entry crossed the line in 16:01.004 to secure the win, while the "B" boat added a sixth-place finish with a time of 17:12.054, rounding out an impressive team performance.
Now celebrating its 60th anniversary, the Head of the Charles once again brought elite rowing programs from across the nation and world to the Charles River.

The Black and White's top crew delivered a decisive victory, finishing more than six seconds ahead of
Princeton 'A' (16:07.586) and comfortably ahead of
Georgetown 'A' (16:38.660). Radcliffe established a fast rhythm early and maintained control throughout the 3-mile course, rowing with poise and precision through the key middle bridges and accelerating into a strong sprint finish.
