CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard women's lightweight rowing team competes in this weekend's IRA National Championship Regatta, May 30-31, at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. The Radcliffe Lights were last in action at Eastern Sprints in early May, where the Black and White claimed two silver medals and two bronze medals.
IRA National Championship Regatta
• Winners of five national championships, Harvard-Radcliffe last stood on the podium as the varsity gold medalists at the IRAs in 2014.
• Harvard has landed on the podium in each of the last two years at the IRA National Championship in the varsity race with second and third place finishes, respectively.
• Last year, the doubles boat of
Caitlyn Kukulowicz and
Julia Maciejak won the gold medal.
• At Eastern Sprints this month, the varsity eight was second in the grand final, while the four was third and doubles was second.
