CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's volleyball (2-7, 1-0 Ivy) continues Ivy League play this weekend with its first back-to-back conference road trip of the season, taking on Cornell and Columbia. The Crimson will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to face Cornell on Friday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET, before heading to New York, N.Y. to battle Columbia on Saturday, October 4 at 6:00 p.m. ET.

- Harvard opened Ivy League play in dominant fashion, sweeping Dartmouth 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-11).
- The Harvard defense had a standout performance, holding the Big Green to a .041 percentage and recording 13 total blocks. It marked the fourth straight contest recording double-digit blocks.
- With the victory, Harvard has now won its Ivy League opener in three straight seasons and extends its winning streak against Dartmouth to five.
- As a team, Harvard leads the Ivy League with an average of 2.65 blocks per set and ranks 26th nationally.
- Individually, Taylor Larkin paces the conference with 1.64 blocks per set as well as ranking sixth in the country.
- Offensively, Brynne Faltinsky (90), Sofia Rossi (90), and Ali Farquhar (80) continue leading the Crimson's offense, each averaging over two kills per set. Faltinsky's 2.81 kills per set rank 10th in the league.
- Harvard also ranks second in the Ivy League in service aces (1.94 per set). Nicole Cornell (13) ranks second in the league, while Sophia Wei (11) is ninth.
- The two setters, Cornell (112) and Wei (158) have both surpassed 100 assists this season.
- Harvard swept the season series against Cornell last season (3-0, 3-1) but trails 31-43 in the all-time series.
- Against Columbia, the Crimson split the season series last year, earning a dominant 3-0 victory before falling in a tight 3-2 battle. Harvard leads the all-time series, 49-23.
