PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Harvard men's tennis concluded action at the Ivy League Qualifier Tournament as its pair of singles players and doubles pairing fell in the semifinals and finals, respectively.
First up on the day,
Nathan Blokhin won the second matchup of the year against teammate
Rohan Murali. The first-year continued the hot start to his collegiate career by downing Murali, 6-2, 0-6, 6-4.
Blokhin's run then came to an end in the semifinals as he fell 7-5, 6-2 to the No. 4 seed, Shaurya Bharadwaj (Penn). The first-year has now advanced to at least the quarterfinals in each of his first two collegiate tournaments.
In doubles,
Masato Perera and Murali's run came to an end in the finals against Rushil Khosla and Rethin Pranav Senthil Kumar (Cornell). The duo fell in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, falling just short in the championship match.
