Adam Poliakov and sophomore center back
Alexander Castel have earned Ivy League All-Tournament Team honors, the Ivy League conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
The 2025 Ivy League Rookie of the Year and a Second Team All-Ivy selection, Poliakov led the Crimson in points (13) and goals (six) on the season. He netted the Crimson's goal against No. 1 seed and No. 3 nationally ranked Princeton in the semifinals of the Ivy League Tournament, closing the year with six goals over his last six games. In Ivy only play, he ranked second in the league in goals (four) and third in points (nine), leading Harvard in both categories.
Castel helped anchor the Crimson's back line as a center back this past season, playing in and starting 16 games, while ranking second on the team in minutes played (1,412). He helped the Crimson tally five shutouts as a team on the year. Castel notched three points on the year on a goal and an assist, including the game-winning goal at Stonehill (Oct. 22).
In 2025, Harvard finished in fourth place in the Ivy League standings to earn a spot in the Ivy League Tournament for the second time in the three years of the event's existence. The Crimson has placed in the top half of the conference table in each of the last five years with top-four finishes in 2021 (fourth), 2022 (third), 2023 (second), 2024 (fourth), and 2025 (fourth).
