CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the first time since 2023, Harvard men's tennis will send two players to the NCAA Individual Championships.
Melchior Delloye and
Benjamin Privara will both represent the Crimson in the singles draw beginning tomorrow.
Privara was the first of the two players to qualify for the national tournament after being a finalist and going 5-0 at the ITA New England Regionals. Overall, the sophomore has accumulated a record of 6-2 this fall season.
Privara will begin his run in the tournament tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. ET against the seeded Jakub Vrba out of University of Arkansas.
Delloye made his run at the ITA East Sectional Championship nearly two weeks ago. By advancing to the semifinals the senior captain punched his ticket to the national tournament. At the sectional championships, Delloye's run was comprised of wins over opponents from top schools such as Clemson, Cornell, and South Carolina.
Delloye's journey in the tournament will begin tomorrow evening at 6:00 p.m. ET against Edwrd Winter (Pepperdine).
This is the first appearance at the NCAA Individual Championships for either player.
