Baseball Unveils 2026 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball will make road trips to the states of Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, and California, play in the annual Baseball Beanpot, and compete in 21 Ivy League games as part of its 2026 schedule, which begins on Feb. 20, Bill Decker, The Joseph J. O'Donnell '67 Head Coach for Harvard Baseball, announced on Thursday.
 
Highlights from the Crimson's schedule include four trips outside the region during non-league play, its first Ivy series at Columbia (Mar. 21-22), its home opener vs. Stonehill (Mar. 31), its first Ivy home series against Brown (Apr. 4-5), The Baseball Beanpot, the final home series of the regular season vs. Penn (Apr. 25-26), and a hopeful berth in the four-team Ivy League Tournament (May 15-18).
 
Harvard opens its 2025 season with a three-game series at Tulane (Feb. 20-22) in New Orleans, Louisiana prior to two more three-game sets in the South against Rice (Feb. 27 to Mar. 1) in Houston, Texas and Liberty (Mar. 6-8) in Lynchburg, Virginia.
 
In its final non-league series before the start of conference play, the Crimson will play four games at California Baptist (Mar. 13-16) in Riverside, California to open its spring recess.
 
Harvard makes its debut in the Northeast and opens Ivy League play with a three-game series at 2025 Ivy League Tournament Champion Columbia (Mar. 21-22).
 
Playing at O'Donnell Field for the first time in 2026, Harvard will host a five-game homestand with matchups against Stonehill (Mar. 31), Brown (Apr. 4-5), and Northeastern in the semifinals of The Baseball Beanpot (Apr. 7).
 
The Crimson returns to the road for a three-game series at Yale (Apr. 11-12) before competing in the championship round of The Baseball Beanpot (Apr. 14).
 
Harvard then plays its next six contests at home with a three-game series against Dartmouth (Apr. 18-19) prior to a three-game set with Penn (Apr. 25-26) in its final home games of the regular season.
 
Closing out the regular season, the Crimson competes at Princeton (May 2-3) to open the month of May.
 
The Ivy League Tournament will feature four teams for the fourth straight year in 2025 with the top four teams in the conference playing at the No. 1 seed from May 15-18. The tournament will follow the format used at the NCAA regionals with the winner of the event earning the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.
 
The 2026 NCAA Baseball Championship will begin with regional play from May 29 to June 1 before the super regionals from June 5-8 and the Men's College World Series from June 12-22. The NCAA will announce the field on May 25.
