CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving is set to travel to New York City to face Columbia on Friday morning. The Ivy League meet is slated to start at 11 a.m. ET inside Percy Uris Natatorium.
What to Know
- Harvard is 3-0 (3-0 Ivy) on the season after sweeping Dartmouth (163-127) and Cornell (191-108) last weekend in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Crimson opened the campaign on Halloween with a 172-71 home decision over Brown.
- Carolina Daher set the Dartmouth pool record in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:00.27. Kiley Wilhelm, meanwhile, set a pair of pool records of her own, establishing a new standard in the 200 back (1:57.60) and 200 IM (2:00.11).
- The Crimson has won 13 straight dual meets and will look for a 14th on Friday. Harvard's current streak is its longest since it won 25 straight from the start of 2004-05, through 2005-06 and the first five duals of 2006-07.
- Harvard enters Friday's contest having won 10 consecutive head-to-head matchups with Columbia. The Crimson is 38-1 all-time vs. the Lions.
- The last time Harvard visited Columbia, it emerged with a 188-112 victory in 2023.
- Columbia is 1-2 on the season and 0-2 in the Ivy League. The Lions began their season with a win over NYU (170-130), but suffered losses at Penn (193-99) and at Yale (213-87) the last two weekends.
