Football Ranked in Top 20 of Both Major Polls

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Football will enter the postseason ranked in the top 20 in both major FCS top-25 polls. The Crimson is ranked No. 15 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Rankings and No. 19 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.

Harvard fell out of the top 10 of both rankings after falling to No. 25 Yale last Saturday. The Crimson dropped seven spots in the Stats Perform poll and nine in the coaches rankings. Even after falling in the polls, Harvard has been a top-20 team in both rankings for seven consecutive weeks.

The Crimson, which captured its third straight Ivy League title this season, earned an at-large bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs after going 9-1 overall and 6-1 against the Ancient Eight. Harvard will face 12th-seeded and No. 6/9 Villanova in the first round on Saturday. Kickoff is at noon ET in Pennsylvania, with ESPN+ airing the game live.
