CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving returns to action this week when it competes at the Minnesota Invitational. The three-day event is slated for Thursday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 6, at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
What to Know
- Competition in the Twin Cities is set to begin each day at 10 a.m. CT/11 a.m. ET with the swimming prelims. Swimming finals will commence at 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET. Diving, meanwhile, will start at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET.
- Harvard returns to action for the first time since defeating Columbia on the road, 194-96, back on Nov. 21. The victory moved the Crimson to 4-0 on the season and 4-0 in the Ivy League.
- The Crimson has won 14 consecutive dual meets, including 11 straight vs. Ancient Eight competition, dating back to the beginning of last season.
- Harvard is appearing at the Minnesota Invitational for the sixth straight campaign. Last season, the Crimson finished in third place in a six-team field. Harvard (897.50) trailed No. 9 California (1,873.50) and No. 23 Minnesota (1,390) in the team standings, but ahead of Denver (795.50), Rutgers (702.50) and UNLV (559).
- Harvard this year will go against No. 6 California, No. 21 Minnesota, UNLV, Rutgers, Denver, and Iowa State.
