Women's Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard women's lacrosse has announced its 2026 season schedule, Devon Wills, the Caroline Kleinfelder Head Coach for Women's Lacrosse, announced today.

The Crimson will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the women's lacrosse program at Harvard throughout the 2026 season.

Highlighted by the season opener at Jordan Field against Notre Dame and the 50th anniversary celebration on Mar. 28 against Brown, the Crimson will play six home games this season, beginning with the Fighting Irish in mid-February. Other key dates include road trips to Boston College and Duke over March break.

Following the opener against Notre Dame on Feb. 15, Harvard will travel to Bryant for a midweek matchup with the Bulldogs on Feb. 18. The Crimson cruised to a victory over Bryant last year at Jordan Field, beating the Bulldogs by a score of 23-12 after Callie Batchelder, Charlotte Hodgson, Tori Balser, and Stella Shea combined for 17 of the 23 Harvard goals.

Continuing the road, the Crimson then heads to Albany on Feb. 21 for another rematch from last season to take on the Great Danes. The Crimson cruised to another non-conference victory in the first game of the season against UAlbany after putting up 18 goals in the opener at Jordan Field, with Harvard leading 14-1 at the half.

Harvard then returns to Cambridge for its first Ivy games of the year, hosting Dartmouth on Feb. 28 before an anticipated matchup with Princeton the following Saturday. Harvard came back to defeat Dartmouth last season in Hanover while falling to Princeton on the road. The last time the Tigers were in Cambridge, the two Ivy rivals battled in an 18-17 overtime game in the spring.

After a quick two-game home swing, the Crimson then heads up the road to take on the Eagles on Mar. 12 before heading to Durham to take on Duke. Harvard last played Boston College in 2022 at Jordan Field, while the Crimson traveled to North Carolina just two years ago to play the Blue Devils.

Returning to Jordan for another two home games, Harvard will host Holy Cross on Mar. 24 in another weekday matchup before the 50th anniversary celebration on Mar. 28 against Brown.

The Crimson will then play five of its next six games on the road, beginning with a trip to Philadelphia to take on Penn at noon on Apr. 4 before a non-conference matchup in New Hampshire the following Tuesday to take on the Wildcats.

Harvard then returns for its final home game of the season against Cornell on Apr. 11 before three straight road games to close the season.

Harvard heads to Yale on Apr. 18 before another trip to Connecticut on Apr. 21 to play UConn. The Crimson beat the Huskies in overtime in an exciting game at Jordan Field after Stella Shea netted the game-winning goal. Heading south one last time, Harvard then heads to Columbia on Apr. 25 in its final test of the regular season.

The Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament will be held from May 1-3.

Last season was highlighted by upsets and broken records with Harvard just missing the NCAA tournament after an impressive campaign. With the Crimson consistently ranked in the top 25 all season long, Harvard opened the year with three wins in its first four games, defeating UAlbany at Jordan Field in the season opener before notching a pair of upsets against No. 15 Navy and No. 23 UConn in late February.
