WATCH: Women's Lacrosse 2025 Season Recap

Highlighted by upsets and broken records, the Harvard Women's Lacrosse team had a very successful 2025 season, just missing the NCAA tournament after an impressive campaign.

With the Crimson consistently ranked in the top 25 all season long, Harvard opened the year with three wins in its first four games, defeating UAlbany at Jordan Field in the season opener before notching a pair of upsets against No. 15 Navy and No. 23 UConn in late February.

Nine different Crimson players found the back of the net in the opener, with usual suspects Grace Mullahy, Callie Batchelder, Tori Balser, and Caroline Mullahy leading the way offensively.

Hitting the road for the first time in the new season, the Crimson defeated No. 15 Navy, with Lizzie Francioli backstopping the team to victory thanks to eight second-half saves. Charlotte Hodgson and Grace Mullahy added fourth-quarter goals to give Harvard a two-goal lead as time wound down in Annapolis.

Stella Shea and the Crimson followed up the big road win with an overtime thriller against UConn. Charley Meier tied the game with 1:32 left in regulation before Annabel Child found Shea on a fast break in overtime for the Crimson's second-ranked win of the season.

Harvard would go on to pick up its biggest win of the season a few weeks later against No. 14 Penn, defeating the Quakers 10–8 in its first home victory over Penn since 1999.
Trailing by one early in the fourth quarter, the Crimson scored three straight goals—courtesy of Hannah Shiels, Annabel Child, and Charlotte Hodgson—to secure a key Ivy League win.

Caroline Mullahy was the story of the season for the Crimson, as the senior rewrote the Harvard, Ivy League, and NCAA record books after a remarkable campaign. She tallied her 100th career assist in the season opener against UAlbany, broke the Harvard program record with her 112th assist against Bryant in late March, and then broke the Ivy League record in her next game against Brown. Mullahy became just the seventh player in program history to record 200 career points after a six-point outing against Yale. She added two assists in the final game of the season to become just the 15th player in NCAA history to record 150+ career assists.

Mullahy was joined by Annabel Child as Crimson honorees on the All-Ivy First Team, and both were named USA Lacrosse All-Americans after earning Honorable Mention recognition.

The Crimson graduates an extremely successful senior class. The group of six seniors reached the Ivy League tournament in three of their four years in Cambridge and laid the foundation for the next wave of playmakers to continue the program's growth in 2026.
