Harvard skiing put together a strong 2025 season as the Crimson welcomed new student-athletes and coaches into a strong nucleus of returners, cultivated a love for the sport behind a positive team culture, and qualified skiers for the NCAA Championships from both the alpine and nordic teams.

Behind the veteran leadership of senior team captain
Matt Ryan and junior
Luke Kearing, the men's alpine team posted several strong finishes over the course of the season with first-year
Duncan Armstrong distinguishing himself as one of the breakout stars in the East. Armstrong punctuated his rookie campaign with an appearance at the NCAA Championships.

On the women's side of the alpine team, first-year
Skylar Sheppard displayed tremendous promise in her rookie season, including clocking the fastest time in the first run of the women's slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival. Sophomore
Emma Speiser and first-year Emma Lenoël-Quang supported her with several strong performances.

A young men's nordic team featured three first-years out of its four competitors with both
Elias Soulé and
Bennett Hutchison posting top-30 finishes over the course of the season.

On the women's side of the nordic squad, seniors
Quincy Donley and
Tali Wong as well as junior
Hayden McJunkin provided the team with a veteran presence while sophomores
Breagh Bridge and
Clara Lake and first-year
Hanna Wilsey gave the group quality depth. Donley capped off the Crimson's season with her debut at the NCAA Championships.

Harvard's season culminated at the NCAA Championships with senior
Quincy Donley and first-year
Duncan Armstrong both representing the Crimson at the event. Armstrong – one of the youngest competitors in the field – highlighted the weekend with a 17
th-place finish in the men's giant slalom while Donley closed out an outstanding career with a 29
th-place finish in the women's 20k freestyle.

At the conclusion of the season, the Crimson bid farewell to three outstanding seniors –
Tali Wong,
Quincy Donley, and
Matt Ryan – who demonstrated exemplary qualities in character, leadership, academic commitment, and athletic success.
