Sawyer Feller hit his first home run of the season, but Harvard University baseball fell to Northeastern University, 6-3, in game two of the series on Saturday afternoon at Friedman Diamond.
Continuing its first series in the New England region this year, the Crimson (0-11) took a 3-0 lead in the top of the seventh after Pauley did not allow a hit over the first six innings before the Huskies (10-6) plated two runs in the bottom of the seventh and four more in the eighth to take the decision.
Pauley threw 6.2 innings in the start, allowing two runs – both earned – on two hits and three walks with a career-high nine strikeouts. He did not allow a hit or run over the game's first six innings.
At the plate, Feller finished 2-for-4 with a home run – the ninth of his career – a double, an RBI, and a run scored, junior
Gio Colasante went 2-for-4 with a double and a run, and senior
George Cooper tallied two RBIs behind a two-run single.

How It Happened
- Pauley did not allow a hit or run over the game's first six innings, tallying a career-high nine strikeouts against just two walks over that span. He struck out the side in the second as a part of the stretch.
- The Crimson threatened in the top of the fourth, putting runners on first and second with one out before the Huskies escaped the jam.
- Harvard took a 3-0 lead with three runs in the top of the seventh. Feller started the stanza's scoring with a solo home run – his first of the year – to left field before Cooper sent a two-run single into right field with two outs.
- Northeastern trimmed the margin to 3-2 with two runs in the bottom of the seventh, including a solo home run. Feller picked a runner off third with the bases loaded to end the frame's threat.
- The Huskies moved ahead 6-3 in the last of the eighth behind a grand slam.
