No. 3 Harvard-Radcliffe Lightweights Compete in Annual Knecht Cup Regatta in Camden, New Jersey

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - No. 3 Harvard-Radcliffe lightweights compete in the Knecht Cup in Camden, NJ on Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13. The regatta will stream on the Knecht Cup YouTube channel.

The Knecht Cup is an annual regatta with some of the top rowing schools in the country with both heavyweight and lightweight boats. Last season, Harvard-Radcliffe lightweights claimed first place in the varsity lightweight eight races.

Harvard-Radcliffe had an impressive showing in Washington, D.C. earlier this season, where it secured victories over Georgetown in both the 8+ and 4+.

Last spring, the varsity eight placed second at Eastern Sprints and third at the IRA Championship Regatta, marking the program's first IRA medal since 2016.

The team also claimed second at the Princeton Chase during the fall season.

Stacey Apfelbaum enters her first season as head coach, leading Harvard-Radcliffe into a competitive 2025 campaign.
