PRINCETON, N.J. – The Harvard men's golf team wrapped up its regular season schedule this past weekend at the 2025 Princeton Invitational. The Crimson tied for eighth place in the field at the Springdale Golf Club after recording a team score of 32-over-par. The tournament served as the team's final tune up for the Ivy League Championship Tournament that is set to take place at the end of April.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Crimson's final regular season tournament took them to New Jersey to compete in the Princeton Invitational. Weather in the area forced the cancelation of round one with the teams picking up play in round two on Saturday afternoon.
Making his first start of the season, junior
Darren Choi led the Crimson in the second round, shooting a team-best score of 75 {+3].
William Ma, Jeff Fang and
Jonathan Hartono were all close behind, shooting 76, 77 and 78, respectively. Harvard's team score of 306 put the squad tied for tenth after the first day of competition.
The Crimson fought back in the third round on day two, beating its second-round score by 12 strokes to move into T8 in the tournament.
William Ma's even-par round of 72 – that featured three birdies – was the lowest on the team and helped the Crimson rise up two places on the leaderboard.
Ieuan Jones came back strong with a round of 73 that saw him sink four birdies. Choi's 74 and Fang's 75 rounded out the team scoring to help Harvard post a third-round score of 294.
The Crimson tied with Dartmouth to finish T3 among the Ivy League teams in attendance at the tournament.
