Baseball Qualifies for 2025 Ivy League Tournament

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University baseball has earned a spot in the four-team Ivy League Tournament set to take place from May 16-19 at George H.W. Bush Field in New Haven, Connecticut on the campus of No. 1 seed Yale as the No. 4 seed Crimson will meet the No. 1 seed Bulldogs in the opening round on Friday, May 16 at noon.
 
Harvard (12-26, 9-12 Ivy) has now qualified for the Ivy League Tournament for the second time in the three years of the event's existence after also reaching the tournament in 2023. The tournament is set to follow the same format as the NCAA Regionals. Alongside Harvard, the event features No. 1 seed Yale (30-12, 16-5 Ivy), No. 2 seed Columbia (24-17, 16-5 Ivy), and No. 3 seed Penn (21-18, 13-8 Ivy).
 
Since March 25, Harvard has posted a 12-10 overall record and 9-9 Ivy League mark, hitting .299 as a team during that span. The Crimson won three of its final four Ivy League series to close the regular season.
 
From 1993 to 2022, the Ivy League conducted a three-game championship series to determine the conference champion. Harvard made nine appearances in that championship format, last winning the title in 2019. The Crimson made appearances in the Ivy League Championship Series in 1996, 1997 (win), 1998 (win), 1999 (win), 2002 (win), 2003, 2005 (win), 2006, and 2019 (win).
 
In program history, Harvard has collected 19 Ivy League titles and 22 EIBL titles with the latest Ivy title coming in 2019.
