CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving's
Nina Janmyr and
Stephanie Iannaccone are set to compete at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025.
Janmyr, representing Sweden, is scheduled to perform on the 1- and 3-meter springboards. The 1-meter preliminaries are set for Friday, July 25, with the finals slated for Saturday, July 26. The 3-meter competition, meanwhile, will get underway on Thursday, July 31, with the semifinals and finals being contested on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Iannaccone, one of three team captains for 2025-26, will swim for Guatemala. The rising junior will begin her time in Singapore on July 26, with the prelims of the 200-meter medley. The semifinals and finals are scheduled for July 27 and 28, respectively. Iannaccone will then return to the pool deck on July 28, for the prelims of the 200-meter breaststroke, with the semis and finals locked in for the next two days (July 31, Aug. 1).
The duo was part of a 2024-25 Harvard team that went undefeated in dual-meet action, posting a 10-0 record (7-0 Ivy League) for the first time since 2005-06, and captured the Ivy dual-meet crown in the process, a feat that had not been accomplished since 2015. Harvard also swept HYP for the first time since 2014, and sent multiple athletes to the NCAA Championship, extending its streak to 13 straight years of appearing at the national meet.
