CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis team announced the fall schedule of its 2025-26 campaign, featuring seven tournaments culminated by with NCAA Individual Championships.
This season marks the second year of the two-year pilot program with the NCAA Division I Individual Championships taking place in the fall of 2025 and 2026 rather than the traditional spring dual season. Throughout the fall Harvard will compete in four qualifying tournaments in the ITA All-Americans (Sept. 20-28), IT New England Regionals (Oct. 9-14), ITA Conference Masters (Nov. 6-9), and ITA Division I Sectional Championships (Nov. 6-9). Each tournament will serve as an opportunity for players to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships.
Last fall, sophomore duo,
Stephanie Yakoff and
Kavya Karra, secured their spot at NCAA's after winning the ITA New England Regional doubles title. The pair won six straight matches in Cambridge, becoming the eighth doubles pair in program history to qualify for the championships.
The Crimson will compete in three other tournaments outside of the road championships, all in the Murr Center. After opening its season in Cary, North Carolina at the ITA All-Americans, Harvard will host Boston College, Boston University, and Providence for the annual Harvard Fall Classic. Tournament play begins on Friday, October 3 and runs through Sunday, October 5.
Prior to hosting its second invitational tournament, the Crimson will serve as host for the ITA New England Regionals for the third straight season. Two weeks later, Harvard will stage the Ivy League Qualifier Tournament from Friday, October 24 through Monday, October 27. The home fall slate concludes with the Harvard Fall Invitational on Friday, October 31 featuring Columbia, Brown, and Boston College.
The NCAA Individual Championships will take place in Orlando, Florida, beginning on Wednesday, November 19, and wrapping up on Monday, November 24.
