CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach of Harvard Women's Tennis, was officially inducted into the Black Tennis Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025 during the organization's 17th annual ceremony this past Saturday in Richmond, Va.
Green, now in her 18th season leading the Crimson, was celebrated for both her playing career and her enduring impact on the sport, as she continues to inspire athletes and colleagues through her leadership and mentorship. A standout collegiate competitor and a trailblazing coach, Green has long been recognized for her commitment to excellence and to expanding opportunities in tennis.
"I'm truly humbled and honored to receive this award. I'm grateful to those who paved the way before me and remain energized by the opportunity to coach, mentor, and inspire others on the court, in their careers, and within their communities," Green said.
Under Green's direction, Harvard captured the 2025 Ivy League Championship, adding to a growing list of conference titles during her tenure. Since taking the helm in 2007, she has guided the program to consistent success while mentoring student-athletes on and off the court. Her induction into the Black Tennis Hall of Fame underscores a lifetime of achievement that continues to grow well beyond Cambridge.
