CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis (1-3) will play on its home courts for the first time this season beginning this Friday at 5:00 p.m. ET versus Purdue (2-2). The Crimson's six-game homestand will then continue Sunday with a doubleheader against Michigan at 12:00 p.m. ET and Merrimack at 4:00 p.m. ET.

- The Crimson has started its season 1-3 after competing in Tennessee and at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in South Carolina.
- Despite its early-season struggles, a bright spot for the Crimson was an upset win over No. 24 Michigan State that advanced the team to the kickoff's championship match.
- Rohan Murali and Nathan Blokhin have paced the way for the Crimson in doubles as they have a combined record of 6-1 at the No. 2 and 3 spots through four matches.
- In the two matches at the ITA Kickoff Weekend, Murali took down two ranked opponents, defeating No. 14 Ozan Baris (Michigan State) and No. 21 Romain Gales (Clemson) in back-to-back matches.
- Murali is also delivering in doubles alongside partner Kolos Kincses. The Crimson's duo is 3-0 so far this spring.
- En route to the upset over the Spartans, the Crimson secured the doubles point with two other ranked wins. Kincses and Murali first defeated the No. 76 ranked duo before Blokhin and Benjamin Privara secured the point with a win over the No. 14 ranked duo at the top spot.
- Harvard totaled four ranked wins against Michigan State with the final coming from senior, Masato Perera. Playing at court four, Perera downed No. 103 David Saye in straight sets.
- The Crimson holds a slim 4-3 victory in the all-time series versus the Boilermakers, including having won the last two meetings. The two teams last squared off in 2020 with Harvard winning 7-0.
- Harvard versus Michigan has become a yearly occurrence as this will be the fifth straight year that the two teams meet. The last four meetings have been spilt 2-e but the Wolverines hold the advantage in the all-time series having won all six meetings prior to 2022.
- The meeting between Harvard and Merrimack will be just the second ever between the two teams. Harvard previously won the first meeting in 2025, 7-0.
