CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's soccer sophomore forward Adam Poliakov has been named the Ivy League Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Poliakov scored both Harvard goals in the Crimson's 2-1 comeback victory at Brown on Saturday night. Entering the match as a substitute, the Kiev, Ukraine, native placed all three of his shots on goal and matched his career highs with two goals and four points.

With Harvard trailing 1-0, Poliakov brought the Crimson level in the 58th minute. He struck again in the 75th minute, scoring the game-winning goal to complete the comeback and help Harvard improve to 2-1-0 in Ivy League play.

The two-goal performance marked Poliakov's second consecutive brace against Brown. He also scored twice, including the game-winner, in Harvard's 4-2 victory over the Bears during the 2025 season. Poliakov became the first Harvard player since Kevin Ara against Maine in 2001 and 2002 to score multiple goals against the same opponent in consecutive seasons.

This week's award is the first Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honor of Poliakov's career and his third conference weekly award overall. He was twice named Ivy League Rookie of the Week during his first-year campaign before earning Ivy League Rookie of the Year, Second Team All-Ivy and Ivy League All-Tournament Team honors.

Poliakov has recorded three goals and six points through nine appearances this season. Over his first two collegiate campaigns, he has totaled nine goals, one assist and 19 points.

Harvard returns to action Saturday, Oct. 17, when it travels to New Haven, Connecticut, to face Yale. The Ivy League matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+.
