CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis (4-4) will clash with Big 12 foe Baylor, tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. ET at the Murr Center.  The match will be broadcast live on the Harvard Athletics TikTok and Facebook and on the Harvard Women's Tennis Instagram. 

What to Know

• This will be the second consecutive season that the Crimson will broadcast a match to its social channels.  Last season, Harvard defeated Penn, 4-0, during the first of its kind broadcast. 
• Harvard is 4-4 this season and most recently went 1-2 at the ECAC Championships.  The Crimson ended the weekend in the win column, defeating Dartmouth, 4-3. 
• Against the Big Green, the Crimson received victories from Stephanie Yakoff, Kavya Karra, Claire Shao, and Andra Braicu to secure the win. 
• The Crimson is currently led by Yakoff who has accumulated a total of 28 victories across singles and doubles play in 2025-26.  The junior currently ranks No. 66 in the nation for singles with a 4-1 dual season record at the top singles spot. 
• Karra is also having a dominant season with a 12-4 singles record and a team-best 17 doubles wins.
• After starting the season 0-3, Shao has found her groove going undefeated at the ECAC Championships. 
• Braicu has also stepped into an important role for the Crimson in her first season and has accumulated a record of 4-1 at the No. 6 singles spot. 
• Harvard has never beaten Baylor in its five meetings.  This will be the second consecutive season that the two teams meet with the Bears coming out on top 7-0 last year.
