NEW ORLEANS, La. – Senior first baseman
Gio Colasante hit a grand slam for his first home run of the year, and five members of the Crimson tallied multi-hit games, but Harvard University baseball fell at Tulane University, 11-9, on Saturday afternoon at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

Competing in game two of the three-game series, the Crimson (0-2) took a 6-0 lead in the top of the second and an 8-2 edge in the top of the sixth before the Green Wave (4-2) scored nine of the game's final 10 runs to take the decision.

How It Happened
- Kang opened the game's scoring in the top of the first, sending a two-run double into left field to give Harvard a 2-0 lead.
- Colasante extended the Crimson's edge to 6-0 in the top of the second, blasting a grand slam to right field.
- Tulane trimmed the margin to 6-2 in the bottom of the second with a pair of runs.
- Harvard moved its advantage to 7-2 in the top of the fourth behind an RBI single to left field from Lane.
- The Crimson plated another run in the top of the sixth as an RBI single from Kang staked the visitors to an 8-2 lead.
- Tulane countered with four runs in the bottom of the sixth to pull within 8-6 and another four runs in the last of the seventh to take a 10-8 lead.
- Harvard responded with one run in the top of the eighth as Mooney sent an RBI single to left field to trim the difference to 10-9.
- The Green Wave added the game's final run in the bottom of the eighth on a sacrifice fly.Â
