Box Score TROY, N.Y. –
Ryan Healey scored to give the Crimson the lead in the first period, but a three-goal third period from the Engineers led RPI to the win on Saturday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Ryan Healey's fourth of the season put the Crimson up 1-0. Assisted by
Michael Callow and
Justin Solovey, the puck shot out to Healey in the slot, and he beat the RPI netminder with a quick catch and release. Harvard took the 1-0 lead into the break.
Ben Charette was the story in the second period after the sophomore netminder stood tall for the Crimson. Charette made multiple big stops on odd-man rushes to protect the Crimson lead. Charette made 15 saves in the second period.
RPI stormed back in the third with two power-play goals to take a 2-1 lead.
Richard Gallant was assessed a five-minute major for a high stick, which led to the Engineer comeback. They would go on to hit the empty net to win 3-1.
