Providence, R.I. – Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving finished the four-day 2026 Ivy League Championships in third place, earning 1153.5 points to trail only Penn (1204) and Ivy League Champion Princeton (1,432).
At the conclusion of the championships,
Anya Mostek was recognized as the Career High Point Swimmer with 352 points and
Nina Janmyr was named the Career High Point Diver (198 pts.).
Prelims Highlights
- Mostek kicked off the morning session for the Crimson with the top seeded finish in the 200 back prelims. She secured a spot in the A-final with a season-best time of 1:53.70. Giulia Viacava also posted a season-best, 2:01.27 which landed her a spot in the C-final.
- Blythe Wieclawek tied her personal-best of 49.77 in the 100 free, landing her in the B-final. Isabella Alas (50.57) tied her season-best and qualified for the C-final alongside Kristín Helga Hákonardóttir (50.44) and Sarah Beckman (50.42).
- Harvard had three swimmers qualify for the 200 breast A-final. Aliana Marakovic posted the top time in prelims with a 2:12.25, with Gabriella Augustyn (2:13.30) and Stephanie Iannaccone (2:13.73) recording the next fastest times.
- In the 200 fly Sydney Lu posted the third-best prelim time with a 1:58.27 which clinched her a spot in the A-final. Hazel Mouhidin (2:00.56) and Kenzie Padilla (2:01.05) secured B-final spots and Davina Huang (2:07.36) qualified for the C-final.
Finals Highlights
- The 1650 free kicked off the evening session with Daher (16:19.37) and Bastone (16:21.95) both posting season-best times, securing fifth and sixth place, respectively. Both times were NCAA B-standards. Mouhidin recorded a season-best 17:05.20 (18th) and Viacava finished the race in 17:26.06 (22nd).
- Mostek won the 200 back title with a personal-best of 1:52.70. This is now the second-best time in school history, behind Felicia Pasadyn (1:52.56). In the C-final, Viacava clocked a season-best 2:00.65, finishing fifth.
- Wieclawek finished second in the B-final with a personal-best 49.71. Beckman won the C-final with a season-best 50.06 and Hakonardottir (50.55) and Alas (50.83) finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
- In the 200 breast A-final, Marakovic won her first Ivy title with a season-best 2:11.93, which also ranks as the fourth-best performance in school history. Iannaccone finished in a personal-best 2:13.28 to come in fourth place and Augustyn (2:13.61) finished right behind in fifth.
- In the A-final of the 200 fly, Lu was the runner up, finishing the race in 1:56.25 which was a season-best and NCAA B-standard. Padilla won the B-final with a season-best 2:00.46 and Mouhidin (2:03.25) finished eighth.
- Janmyr finished third in the 3-meter diving, earning a score of 305.40. Shi came in seventh place with 262.80 points.
- The Crimson finished the meet with a third-place performance in the 400 free relay. Mostek, Marakovic, Beckman, and Wieclawek completed the event in 3:17.77 which was a season-best time.
