Cambridge, Mass. – Six members of the Harvard Women's Rugby program — Tiahna Padilla '26, PK Vincze '25, Cassidy Bargell '22, Gemma Ogoke '29, Courtney Taylor '27, and Malia Isaacs '25 — are representing The Crimson at the USA Women's Eagles Domestic Camp led by Coach Mel Denham.
The camp focuses on evaluating domestic talent, setting national standards, and shaping player pathways ahead of the 2029 and 2033 Women's Rugby World Cup cycles. Staff will assess physical benchmarks and rugby IQ to identify both current and future Eagles, with invitations based on pathway assessments, Talent ID events, and standout performances.
Padilla '26, a two-time NIRA MVP, anchored the team with elite two-way play. Taylor '27 was a force in the front row, helping power a 99% scrum success rate. Ogoke '29 emerged as a top try scorer and defensive leader. Vincze '25 earned All-NIRA honors during Harvard's 15s National Championship run. Isaacs '25 has represented the U.S. at the U23 level, while Bargell '22 brings senior national team and Women's Elite Rugby experience.
