CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's tennis (3-2) will face Ivy League foes for the first time in 2026 at the ECAC Championships in Princeton, N.J. this weekend. The Crimson's tournament run will begin at 8:00 a.m. ET on Friday, February 6 against Brown.

- Harvard enters ECACs as the top seed after being crowned the Ivy League champions a season ago.
- Last season at ECACs the Crimson went 1-2, defeating Dartmouth in the opening round before falling to Columbia and Princeton.
- Last weekend the Crimson went 1-1 in the Midwest, falling to Wisconsin before bouncing back with a 4-0 sweep of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
- Despite the loss, Stephanie Yakoff and Kavya Karra recorded a hallmark win over the No. 5 nationally ranked duo of Maria Sholokhova and Lucie Urbanova (Wisconsin). The duo is 3-0 in the spring and 6-3 overall for the year and recently checked in at No. 42 in the ITA Division I Women's Doubles Rankings.
- In the final day of its trip to Wisconsin, the Crimson got back in the win column with a dominant 4-0 sweep over Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In the victory Harvard received wins from Yakoff, Kate Kim, and Andra Braicu. Kim moved to 2-1 on the year as she blanked her opponent, 6-0, 6-0
- Individually, Yakoff was ranked No. 66 in the most recent singles poll and is 12-2 throughout 2025-26.
- Across doubles and singles action, Karra is a perfect 8-0 during the dual season. In singles, Karra has recorded three wins while competing at the No. 3 and 4 spots.
- Braicu has been a steady presence for the Crimson during her first season and has an undefeated singles record while compete at the No. 6 position.
- Harvard has a dominant 41-13 lead in the all-time series versus the Bears including have won two straight match ups.
