Playing in the third game of a four-game series, the Crimson (0-12) took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth, but the host Lancers (17-4) tied the score at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth and took the decision with a walk-off single in the last of the 10
th inning.

Abler threw 6.2 innings in the start, allowing just one run on 11 hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Colasante and Brancel provided the Crimson's RBIs while junior

How It Happened
- The Crimson threatened in both the first and second innings. In the first, Rickheim opened the game with a lead-off double and later advanced to third. In the second, the Crimson loaded the bases before CBU escaped the jam for the second straight inning.
- California Baptist struck first in the bottom of the second to take a 1-0 lead on an RBI single.
- Harvard evened the score at 1-1 in the top of the third as Colasante sent an RBI single into right field to plate Lane.
- The Crimson claimed a 2-1 advantage in the top of the sixth as Brancel sent an RBI single into right field to bring home Witkow, who doubled to lead off the frame.
- Harvard escaped a bases-loaded jam with one out in the bottom of the sixth as Abler induced a 5-4-3 double play.
- In the bottom of the ninth, CBU plated an unearned run on a throwing error to tie the score at 2-2.
- CBU took the decision with a walk-off RBI single up the middle in the bottom of the 10th.Â
