ITHACA, N.Y. – Harvard Men's Basketball sophomore guard
Ben Eisendrath has earned Ivy Madness All-Tournament Team honors after matching his career high with 15 points in the semifinals against Penn, the conference announced on Sunday afternoon.
Eisendrath matched his career high with 15 points to go with six rebounds and a game-high six assists, while shooting 7-of-11 from the floor and 1-of-2 from 3-point distance in No. 2 seed Harvard's matchup with the No. 3 seed Quakers on Saturday at Newman Arena. He scored in double figures for the seventh time on the year.
For the season, Eisendrath averaged 5.3 points, 3.3 assists, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting 89.7 percent at the free throw line. He ranked seventh in the Ivy League in assists per game (3.3) and fourth in steals per game (1.6).
As a team, Harvard posted a 17-12 overall record and 10-4 mark in Ivy League play, finishing in second place in the Ivy League standings for its best finish since the 2019-20 season. The Crimson qualified for the Ivy League Tournament for the first time since 2020 and competed in the event for the first time since 2019 as the 2020 edition was canceled due to COVID-19. For the year, the Crimson led the conference in scoring defense (66.7).
